MFF Viewers’ Choice

Filed under: Machinima — Overman @ 9:18 pm

Most of the nominees for this year’s Machinima Film Festival now have direct links to streaming versions courtesy of GameVideos.com, and apparently there’s a special award for the one which performs the best in the rating system over there. So check out the links from the festival nominees page, and rate them if you’re into that kind of thing. (While you’re at it, you could read up on the panel of judges for the festival).

Even if you do nothing else, go see why The Adventures of Bill and John: Danger Attacks at Dawn absolutely deserves all nine of its nominations. Though if you’re really wanting to experience it in all it’s glory, I’d advise checking out the high quality versions of the film over at their site.

  1. Thanks for the links. I’ve been wanting to see this film since the whomping nine noms came out. After watching it though, it’s pretty obvious that Danger Attacks at Dawn is a winner. Also hard to believe that they’ve created such an entertaining film without showing a single model of a human being. I wonder about how it was produced. The sound seemed to have been edited at a professional studio according to the credits. Hard to compete using my little home rig…Acting is brilliant, and….aw, just watch it and you’ll see what I mean.

    ..back to the salt mines…

  2. Your’e right on B&J. It seems to exist in a seperate sphere, leaving me feeling a little less
impressed with my own dang self and a bit challenged to produce more polished material (two very good things).

And those Judges, man, Mr. Marino put together a strong group.
