In case you missed it last week, this Shattered Keyboard article tackles a very interesting subject: the psychology of suspense and the role of conditioning in our experience of cinema. Really good, thought-provoking read. SK is one of the more active machinima-related bloggers right now, and that’s a good thing because he’s got some very interesting things to say.

I also like the “info-barf” posts he does every once and awhile. The spray of bullets approach is good for those little tidbits which don’t warrant their own post but are worth mentioning. I think I’ll do one of those as my next, though I’ll need to come up with a new name for it so as not to commit trademark infringement. Any suggestions?
