- Perspective on the $$ Value of Machinima - Geoffrey James (Kephren), producer of the full-length machinima feature Borg War, reveals some very interesting info, and presents a thought-provoking argument that could be made for getting game companies behind machinima… if they’d listen.
- REVIEW: The Snow Witch - Robert Jones (Stranger109) is back, this time talking about the Britannica Dreams masterpiece.
- The Future of Motion Capture? - Beowulf has everyone talking about mocap suits and whether animators will be made obselete… (the answer is a vehement NO, but that’s probably best saved for its own post)

Phil, your Overbytes are priceless. Thanks you very much.
Btw, here is a link to most useful Poser tutorials I ever saw: http://www.drgeep.com/p6/p6.htm
These are for Poser4, 5 and 6 but extremely useful and made in easy to follow comic book style.
And I must share with you one of my findings. Very powerful animation software with interesting price. http://www.massivesoftware.com/products/prime/
Machinimators with bad heart condition be advised: skip following sentences!
“Massive Prime™ is available for $17,999 USD per permanent interactive license, plus $3,999 per year for updates and support, for a total price of $21,998 including the first year of annual support.
License can be purchased only with first year support included.”

I think there is much to be said about about the GFW article, and worth tracking down last months issue if you missed it.
