Festival Season in Full Swing
The Bitfilm Festival is calling for entries. Deadline is March 1, 2008.
Highlights:
- They have a Machinima category for submissions
- Enter as many of your films as you like; No entry fee
- The Internet audience decides on the Bitfilm Awards; 10,000 Euro prize money for overall winner (1500 Euro for machinima category)

Animatu is calling for entries for their 2008 festival. Deadline is May 30, 2008.
Highlights:
- They have a Machinima category for submissions
- Enter up to two of your films; No entry fee
- Winners selected by International Jury; category winners eligible to run for Grand Prize and Best Portuguese Film and in any category run for the RTP2-Onda Curta Prize (broadcast rights acquisition) and for the Tourism of Alentejo Award

Also worth mentioning, I think, is the Ivy Film Festival held by Brown University and sponsored by M.com. Deadline for submission is March 16.
