Leo in the Spotlight

Filed under: Animation, Machinima — Overman @ 9:08 am

I was pleasantly surprised to see this come through one of my Google Reader feeds yesterday. Sounds like Leo is pretty excited about the possibilities of the Reallusion toolkit.

Leo’s animation skill set is remarkable, to put it lightly; by comparison, I’m the skinny scarecrow to his Lou Ferrigno. Easily, he’s the machinima director I most look forward to meeting in person one day, after having talked and collaborated so many times across the Web. It’s really great to see him given this kind of recognition in this nicely put together little documentary / interview, filmed by John Martin of Reallusion.

  2. Good to see Leo getting some well-deserved attention. John Martin from Reallusion wrote to me about how delighted he was to meet Leo. You can add me to the list of people who can’t wait to hang out with Dr. Nemesis himself. I share your admiration for him and his work. Wonderful filmmaker!

  4. well, I found neither the “roomates wanted” film or this movie here sooo overwhelming. it is ok, but that is it. never mind. maybe I am missing something. what I wonder is how reallusion persuaded him to use their software. but yeah, maybe version 3 will be a step forward. but I guess they will rip off their customers one more time…

  5. Thanks Phil, and everyone. This came as a pleasant surprise for me too, as I forgot I had done it.
“what doen it matter”, Reallusion didn’t persuade me to use their software, I’ve been an Iclone user for a while.
