I played in on the PS3 and yes, FLeeF is correct, get your affairs in order before you purchase it. You might have over 3 months to request time off and save up money and spouse points but you should start planning now.

All my fighting with myself to not use games for movies are wasted... There is no way in hell I will not use GTA IV for some scene.

Just so's ya know, there are people (myself slightly included) that have/are/still decoding the main mission script (which is harder than you think, especially if you've never even played the game yet!). It's all very C like, which pleases me to no end. :) Tough parts now will be figuring out all the variables, but an imminent PC release should make this a bit easier...

It's a brilliant game. FLeeF and AngriBuddhist are both right. . . I waited in line and picked up the collector's edition the night it came out (I'm a geek, and proud of it!) and by the time I came home it was 1:30 AM. I had school the next day and convinced myself I'd only play it for a half over. Needless to say, that wasn't the case and I suffered a GTAIV hangover the next day. But it was so worth it. :-D
