Voice Acting PSA
Created by shawnkenobi, a young and prolific Sims 2 voiceover talent, this cute public service announcement serves as a promo for a series he’s working on about the etiquette of dealing with voice actors. The “Monopoly guy” clip art feel cracks me up, as does the wholly politically incorrect humor. If he keeps this style and combines that in the series with genuinely useful info, he could really be on to something here. Not exactly on the level of You Suck at Photoshop, but it has the potential to be in that same kind of spirit of Education Plus.

Wow, thanks for the plug Overman — extremely flattered that you liked it so much. I’ve decided to go with short episodes since it’ll probably keep people’s attention span better than one epic video. I’m still hammering out the actual script as I do want to keep that humour going without it becoming tired. A bit trickier than I thought but hopefully I’ll strike that fine balance between entertaining humour and insightful and practical advice; always the goal, I guess. Support like this goes a long way… helping to keep me motivated and whatnot so thanks again!
