OverByte #11

  1. Machinima Film Festival 2008 Nominees - Congratulations, nominees! Some really great films here, sprinkled with a few head scratchers.
  2. My Dog Ate The Proof of my Ridiculous Allegations - Sorest. Losers. Ever.
  3. Antics V5 Released! - Antics have rebranded themselves with a new logo and look, and version 5 features facial expressions and other new features. See also: overcast #038 - Interview with Brad Kolacinski
  4. Ricky Grove reviews iClone 3 for Renderosity - An in-depth look at a phenomenal machinima tool.
  5. The Interactive iClone Work of Daniel Bouillot - An intriguing use of iClone that would have been featured at the Montreal Expo as an interactive kiosk.
  6. aniBoom to Present Four Animated Series at MIPCOM 2008 - I don't want to be cruel here, but whatever happened to putting your best foot forward? If these series represent the competition of "hit series," some of the machinima creators I know would have nothing to worry about. Watch them, you'll see. Links: AnimalNation, Angry Dog, Snowy the Frostman
  7. JPro's latest film, "Turbulence" - Can you spot the Overman cameo?
  8. The Moviestorm US Election Content Pack and the MyToons Political Cartoon Contest - Two great tastes that go great together?
