Animation in Process

I am happy to announce that I among several artists featured in an upcoming book by Andrew Selby called Animation in Process, which features profiles of animators from various forms and styles. The book is scheduled for publication in August 2009, and features the following artists (and, if you couldn't guess from the title, information about their work process).

Some really breathtaking work represented here, I hope you'll take some time over the holidays to view some of these films; I'm really honored to be featured alongside such talent.

Great, I've seen some of those films at our animation film festival this year.
Fatntastic to see MRE featured along with them. A good sign for Machinima and a well
deserved honour for your work. Can't wait to read through the book.

Very, very cool, congrats!!

Now, this is something. You deserve it, Phil. Congrats.
Take a look a "Madame TutliPutli", it is unbelievable. Eyes of character a real footage of human eyes motion tracked and then rotoscoped on model. Amazing stuff.

Look forward to looking through these films & congratulations Phil!

Congratulations, Phil. This is great news. I'll definitely put in an order for this book. I only know Run Wrake's work, so it will be a treat to discover so many animators. Andrew Selby is a smart guy to include your work and work process. Yay!

Phil,

You certainly deserve this honor. Not only aa a filmmaker, but also as an ardent supporter of Machinima.

Congratulations Phil. This is too cool!
