Machinima film inspires live action film?

Curious what André Pesch has been up to? He's been working with director V.Fawaz on this, in what may be a "first" of sorts.

^ Not to mention that this has a severe lack of Ricky Grove :-(

I feel kind of out of sorts saying this, but I agree with you Kate, for the same reasons and others that I can't yet put a finger on yet. "The Days After" is easily one of my top 10 favs as far as machinima is concerned. I have a lot of respect for it and the director, and so I feel like I need to bite my tongue here. But I think the machinima version was IT. I'm not sure if this is IT.

That is VERY cool!

Brilliant! I'll be very interested to see the final result. I'm pretty sure that this is indeed a first (unless you count machinima that was made for the express purpose of pre-vis).

I'm not sure about this. A big part of the emotional impact of 'the days after', for me anyway, was that such a sensitive film, with emotional depth had been made in GTA. The context was part of the film, the stillness of the characters, the landscape especially, all contributed to the films unique atmosphere.
