An homage to the first game that let me record / playback demos... and changed my life as a result. Production time: one day. Sound effects and music mercilessly pilfered from the original game; they were created by the inimitable Bobby Prince.

@krad - I've answered your question privately in case others would consider it a spoiler. Thanks for the comment!
@Tom - Thank you! I'd love to see you play with this motif some day, the way I'm sure you'd deconstruct it as you went would be fascinating.

Making a movie about game which you use to make movie. What is this, Mamachinima? :)
Seriously, interesting and very well executed.
Very often I am toying with almost the same idea.
(planning something with Max Payne, my door to the Machinima)
Kickass! This really has a Doom feel to it. I've always wanted to do a shot or a scene in a movie from a character's POV while he or she is holding a gun, mainly as homage to Halo and video games in general. I almost hate to ask and ruin the magic, but did you film the hands / gun separately from the rest of the footage?
