Of Course I'll Hold

An experience captured in GTA4. This was an in-game NPC sequence that was triggered at the end of a side mission, it cracked me up and luckily I captured a clip of it so I could edit with Rockstar's video tools.

LOL ... I've never played that game because I was afraid I would transfer the skills over to my real life. O_o

That's pretty great. So was this a random event that you just happened to catch after the side mission?

I'm pretty sure it was a scripted event set up to happen right after the side mission. In that mission, you've had several encounters with a violent paranoid husband; he finally (in spite of Nico's counsel) sets out to go murder his wife. As the guy runs off to do so, he's struck and killed by this fellow.

So it couldn't have happened to a better guy.

The footsteps in the background, btw, are me going around like a vulture and picking up the cash of the deceased, LOL.

Ahh, yes! I remember that side mission. As I recall, you run into him various times throughout the game while driving around and he wants you to photograph his wife cheating on him. It's definitely a triggered event like you said, as he was hit by a car during my playthrough too. Didn't catch the part you recorded though!

If people dropped glowing stacks of enlarged cash upon dying in real life, I'd definitely vulture it. Unfortunately, we have to deal with wills and acrimony. If only life were more like a video game. . . :-D
