Sunday is Susanna Hoff's "fun day," so why can't it be mine too?
Love the writing and overall presentation in this. Can you guess what business is circulating this as a commercial of sorts? I say can you guess, because the company is not mentioned anywhere on screen or in the audio. In fact, the only way to see any direct association with a company is to follow the URL they mention. I think it's a brilliant lure, even a bit gutsy, since I'm sure somewhere at Company ABC is an exec scratching his head trying to figure out how this is going to generate revenue when it doesn't mention our flippin' name! Me, I think that's kinda cool. You create comedy based on a highly topical theme that really resonates with people, and then for those motivated enough to click through, you (rather gently) associate the idea of solutions to your corporate brand. It's a long term view, not a hard sell. Pretty smart, and patient, when you think about it.

This is very smart advertising! I have a friend who used to work for an advertising company, and she told me this kind of concepts would be the first to go down the trash chute in favor of a detergent style commercial. This is probably considered low risk since *the company ABC* doesn't have to pay huge money to get it on air. I guess the Internet does open doors to a more daring style of campain (at least I'm guessing this isn't broacast on TV, is it?)
This is freaking hillarious in itself, but the fact that it's actually a commercial makes it brilliant, me think.
