I've been following my friend Damien's Chronicles of Humanity series since its inception. He began by using The Sims 2 (in conjunction with a Nexus game for the space battles), and lined up some great talent with Felicia Day providing voice and Ricky Grove doing some voice and the sound work.
I was very excited to learn that Damien had recently migrated the project to Moviestorm, thereby enabling much better control of animation and basically headache-free lipsync. This short, Alone, is the result of that production change. You can see that having real camera control is also helping Damien do things he'd not been able to do before.
I'll be watching this original science fiction series with even more interest now!
