Todd (the director) calls this series "a four part gangster romp, telling the evolving tale of Ernest Rent." I call it a masterpiece.

I've never been someone who chases people down and begs to collaborate with them, but I did just that when I saw The Fixer. I found it utterly irresistable, and thought it had potential to be a real smash.

And it turns out, I was right.

This series raised the bar for everyone in terms of story, writing quality, cinematographic style, effective use of music... and especially in terms of edginess - with class. Ernest Rent is one of the most memorable characters you'll ever encounter in an animated film.

FAIL (the browser should render some flash content, not this).
