Bitfilm Gem #3: Zoudov

It is hard to believe this is a student film, as I could easily mistake this for an early Pixar short. Pay particular attention to the superb use of the camera in this piece, the choices made as to what to reveal for us and when. Also noteworthy is the use of light and shadow to amplify mood and suspense. Someone is a natural cinematographer here.
Note as well: no dialogue, at least in the foreground. Really nice musical score, too.
